Mogoro is a village located in the Marmilla hilly region, on a highland, called Su Struvina, which leis at the Monte Arci's foot, an origin volcanic mountain.

Mogoro is a village located in the Marmilla hilly region, on a highland, called Su Struvina, which leis at the Monte Arci's foot, an origin volcanic mountain, for this reason, in pre-nuragica it was a important centre for the obsidian's manufacture.

In the countryside around the town there are several ruins, including the Nuraghe's complex,  the Puisterisi village's remains and those of the ancient Bonorcili village. The town has five churches, the most important of which is the parish church, dedicated to San Bernardino, where are preserved the Eucharistic Miracle's relics of 1604. Mogoro is a place also famous for carpets and tapestries, exhibition symbols that is held here every year in August, and that takes the name of "Carpet Fair".
